Welcome to the Gull Lake Sailing Club! We are fun group of sailors who love sailing and being out on the water. The club is mainly focused on growing sailing and sailboat racing in Michigan! There is nothing like feeling the power of the wind to move a sailboat across the water!
The Sunfish class sailboat is the most popular racing sailboat ever built. This one-design is good for beginners and seasoned sailors alike! However, ANY one-design Class that has three or more member boats registered with the club qualifies for a race start; must have two boats in the starting area any given race day to get a start.
If you’re interested in racing in our Wednesday night series, check the official Notice of Series or send us an email with any questions about becoming a member.
In addition to the Wednesday series we host an annual regetta, a race around the island, and a holiday series open to all mono hull sailboats.
