Gull Lake Holiday Series – Portsmouth Handicap Race – Open to all sailboats
Note: The Memorial Day race was postponed for safety because of extremely high winds. The Independence Day race was postponed for no wind. We are planning for 3 races on Labor Day starting at 12:00 to decide the winner!
This will be our second year hosting the annual holiday series. Open to all sailboats, the times will be adjusted based on the Portsmouth Handicap rating for each boat to determine the winners.
To make up for the lack of racing on Memorial Day and Independence Day, we have moved up the start time to 12:00 on Labor Day with the goal of completing three races. Check the updated NOS for details. There will be a post race gathering with refreshments.
- Memorial Day: May 27, 2024 (Monday) – POSTPONED
- Independence Day: July 4, 2024 (Thursday) – POSTPONED
- Labor Day: September 2, 2024 (Monday) – 12:00 (first warning)

Notes:
– If you are planning to launch at the Prairieville Township Park, get there early as the holidays are busy and you may need to wait for parking.
